Iris Chapa’s Technology Plan
Goal: All and Staff at Tuloso Midway ISD will participate in various technology staff developments that will help create a new vision for the 21st Century classroom.


ACTION STEPS:

A) New Teachers, grades K-12, will participate in a technology teacher training camp.

B)New Teachers will pass 8 online tests based on Windows Office & Internet.

C)TM Technology Department will hold 3 Technology Camps where they will learn technology products and will set up web page.

D) All TM Teachers will be asked to complete 4 levels of technology competency over SBEC STMISD Teachers are encouraged to partake in iCamp – an after school tutorial program aimed at taking teachers past the “how to” level.

Each teacher will provide their own lesson plan and utilize the various technology tools provided at TMHS Campus.




EVALUATIONS

A) Administration and Teachers will Evaluate the STaR Chart results for our district. Teachers will provide a needs assessment based on the data presented in STaR Chart


B)Teaches are required to log into online testing program provided by national website and administered by District Librarians


C)Teachers will be responsible for
Maintaining a class/organization webpage throughout the school year.


D) Teachers will turn in various products to demonstrate competency level
All TMISD Staff will participate in a full day technology conference where teachers will present the newest technology tools

E) 30 hour technology tutorial offered 3 hours per night – every 2-3 weeks
Each teacher will provide their own lesson plan and utilize the various technology tools provided at TMHS Campus.Syllabus and documents will be posted for each class. Participating staff will be asked turn in products at the end of each camp. Teachers will also show use of Atomic Learning. E- Portfolios & Presentations
